From time to time, we may place temporary restrictions on an account if we believe PMs are being used in a way that goes against our community guidelines.
Private messaging is designed to support friendly, helpful, and fair interaction between members. We allow members to trade personal codes within reason, but messaging activity that appears excessive, overly promotional, or referral-based may prompt a review.
We’ll normally contact you first to explain what we’ve noticed and give you the chance to adjust your activity and if there has been no previous history. If no improvement is seen, a block may be applied.
Some examples of activity that may lead to a PM restriction include:
Sharing or requesting referral codes via PMs (or indirectly through thread comments)
High volumes of PMs that appear to involve bulk code trades for example
Unusual or repeated messaging patterns that don't align with typical community use
We ask that you wait 3 months from the date of restriction before requesting a review.
