From time to time the team might need to temporarily pre-moderate some content on hotukdeals.
There are two ways in which we can do this:
Account Moderation
We have the ability to pre-moderate your comments if we believe they need to be checked by the team before going live. The most common reason for this is when your content is not in line with our site rules. The posting of swear words, referrals or self promotion is the most common reason. If you believe there has been a mistake, please get in touch.
Thread Comment Moderation
If this is happening on a specific thread and not across the whole site, it sounds like the thread you're commenting in is being moderated. To protect the wider community we might sometimes place a thread on pre-moderation so that all comments drop in for review. As we appreciate the site is a busy and vibrant place, we only use this option sparingly.
