Here at hotukdeals, we always aim to recognize and reward users who contribute meaningfully to our platform, enriching the experience for all.

To ensure that our rewards reflect the spirit of our community and uphold our commitment to quality contributions, in addition to our Publication Rules we have established guidelines and rules for users to get rewarded. 

 

1. Eligibility

1.1 Participation in the reward system is open to all registered users of the hotukdeals platform.

1.2 Users must comply with the Publication & Reward Rules to be eligible for winning prizes. We kindly invite you to read both carefully.

2. Rules

In addition to the points mentioned in our Code of Conduct and Publication Rules, we’d like to highlight the following behaviors we strictly don’t allow:

2.1 Creating multiple usernames specifically to avoid user account restrictions or suspensions, or any attempt to ‘game’ our voting, rewards or similar systems.

2.2 Cold or hot voting for the sole purpose of manipulating the reward program and the integrity of the voting system.

2.3 Any kind of behavior aimed to bypass, cheat, or take advantage of the reward program.

3. Earning Rewards

3.1 Users earn rewards by actively participating in the hotukdeals community, including but not limited to:

  • Posting deals
  • Commenting on deals
  • Voting on deals
  • Contributing valuable insights and information

3.2 The reward system calculates rewards based on user contributions and engagement metrics.

3.3 Rewards are subject to change at the discretion of hotukdeals. The main updates will be published in the Hall of Flame (our reward system hub) and in the Official Announcements of our Discussion section. 

4. Reward Proposals 

4.1 Daily rewards.

  • Every day we award 3 vouchers for each of our top 15 deal categories (Culture & Leisure, Travel, Gaming etc).
  • For the hottest deal of the day, we award a £10 voucher to the member, 2nd place gets £5, 3rd place gets £3. 
  • The leaderboard is based on the deal's temperature at 12PM (noon) of the day after.
  • The freebie deals are not included in the daily leaderboard.
  • The hotukdeals Community Support Team checks all the selected eligible winners, approving the rewards if the users comply with the Reward rules.
  • Users who are among the 45 daily winners will receive a private message with the Amazon Voucher code to redeem.

4.2 Pepper user awards

  • Every year we award 1 or more physical trophie(s) to users who pass amazing deals-sharing milestones.
  • We have three levels of rewards to earn: Silver (500 hot deals), Gold (1000 hot deals) and Platinum (5000 hot deals).
  • The leaderboard is based on the amount of hot deals reached by end of the year. 
  • Users receive 1 trophy per milestone reached. They can't get 2 trophies for the same milestone. 
  • In the first months of the year, hotukdeals contacts the eligible winners asking if they'd like to receive the trophy. In case of an affirmative response, users must provide personal details with the only purpose of organizing the delivery
  • Once all the winners' information is collected, hotukdeals organizes the delivery keeping the winners updated.
  • In addition to the physical trophies, each winner of the Pepper User Award will also get awarded a virtual badge on the website, called Silver/Gold/Platinum badge.

4.3 Flamedeer

  • hotukdeals can organize a Flamedeer game up to 4 times a year. All the information about the game are contained in a specific Flamedeer faq.
  • The rules contained in this article are also applied to the Flamedeer game. 
  • The hotukdeals Community Support Team checks any kind of cheating attempt to detect and prevent fraudulent behaviours.

4.4 Premier League kicktipp Prediction Competition

  • The hotukdeals created a prediction game competition, managed via Kicktipp (an online platform that allows sports enthusiasts to participate in prediction games). 
  • The competion of hotukdeals is based on Premier League prediction and the link for joining the game is this one: https://www.kicktipp.co.uk/hotukdeals-football-predictor/join

4.5 Additional giveaways

  • hotukdeals may reward users with occasional giveaways of various kinds based on their excellent contributions.
  • The criteria of selection are normally of the following types:
    • Helpful activity (based on reactions given and/or received)
    • Freebie threads that reached a high temperature
    • Valuable contribution and help evidenced in the Discussion section
    • Best users registered in the last year
    • Additional spot awards selected by the Community Support Team

5. Reward Redemption

5.1 Rewards may include but are not limited to:

  • Vouchers
  • Gift cards
  • Discounts
  • Tangible prizes
  • Trophies
  • Merchandise & company swag

5.2 Based on the kind of reward achieved, hotukdeals will provide, through the website or mobile application, all the information of how the users can redeem them. Users

5.3 The availability of rewards is subject to change based on inventory and other factors. hotukdeals will informed users in advance about the rewards offered and/or any eventual change.

6. Reward Limitations

6.1 Rewards are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.

6.2 Users may be subject to verification procedures before receiving rewards.

6.3 hotukdeals reserves the right to withhold rewards or suspend accounts (temporarily or permanently) in cases of suspected fraudulent activity or violation of guidelines.

7. Reward Expiry

7.1 Rewards in the form of vouchers have expiration dates, communicated by hotukdeals during the voucher delivery. Users are responsible for checking the expiry dates of their vouchers.

7.2 Expired rewards may not be reissued or extended.

8. Amendments

8.1 hotukdeals reserves the right to amend these reward system guidelines at any time without prior notice.

8.2 Users are encouraged to review the guidelines periodically for updates.

By participating in the reward system, users agree to abide by these guidelines and any modifications thereto.
