There are three ad slots available on your deal page that can help maximize your ad earnings:
Ad slot below the deal summary. This slot is always available regardless of the deal’s content.
Ad slot below description. This slot becomes available if your deal description is longer than 500 characters.
Ad slot below comments. This slot becomes available if your deal has received at least 5 comments.
If your deal includes a description of over 500 characters and has received at least 5 comments, it becomes fully eligible for ads, allowing the maximum number of ad units to be displayed across the page.
Apps
On apps, there are two ad slots available:
Ad slot below the deal summary: This slot is always available regardless of the deal’s content.
Ad slot below description: This slot is always available regardless of the deal’s content.
Please note: Ad slots are just one factor influencing your ad earnings. Other variables - some beyond your control - can also impact your revenue. Please check your profile dashboard for further details.
Are all deals eligible for ad slots?
No, ad slots are not shown on deals in certain categories - specifically alcohol, gambling, and sexually explicit content - in compliance with Google Ads policies. If a deal falls under an excluded category, no ads will be displayed, and no ad revenue can be earned from it.
This change applies to all deals starting from 06.02.2025. However, any ad revenue earned from deals in these categories before the rule takes effect will remain unaffected.
This restriction currently applies to web and mobile web and will be implemented in the apps soon.
