Our team have the ability to merge threads if they believe it is a duplicate of a post already on hotukdeals.
When a merge happens our team will trigger a notification which will take you to the thread they considered to be the original. If you disagree with their decision you'll be able to send a report to them and we ask you do that on the original thread you get directed to,
We're able to reverse a merge if something later comes to light but that must be done within 48 hours.
Some other things to remember:
If we believe the comments are useful they will also be merged.
The team will use discretion when considering whether they should combine the votes.
