Voting is crucial to the function of hotukdeals. All deals start on site at 0° and then it is over to the community to vote on the deal. If a deal reaches 100° it gains HOT DEAL status and will also feature on the Trending section of hotukdeals.
Users can vote Hot or Cold based on their analysis of the deal. While it is not compulsory to do so, it is beneficial to the deal poster and the whole community if you accompany your vote with an explanatory comment. Your comment might just save the community some big money if you think people should avoid making a purchase!
For the first 10 minutes the temperature is hidden to everyone except the poster.
Voting is reserved for logged in members and you can now change your vote if you accidently click the wrong button or wish to change your initial verdict, simply click again on the vote you cast to undo it! Votes will remain open until the deal expires, allowing anyone to undo or change their vote if needed. This feature is available on both our website and app. Please make sure your app is updated to the latest version to access this feature.
Please note that to prevent spam voting, there is a limit on the number of votes you can cast within a given time – this now also applies to unvoting and changing votes.
